"Raindrops on roses, And whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favorite things ..."
Kittens, alert-eyed, ready for adventure, curled up in the exact center of the bed, are such delightful creatures. Life just seems a little bit brighter due to their presence.
They grow so fast. In just a few short months, they are no longer the slightly clumsy, adorable babies but full grown cats.
A dear friend of mine recently adopted a tiny kitten after the loss of her beloved companion of many years. Simba is the rainbow glimmering through the tears of grief.
I have a favorite little painting, Morgaine In A Box, that reminds me of all the mischievous exploits she had in her 20 years.
I hope this painting too brings a smile for many years.
